Amitabh Bachchan returns to ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’

Amitabh Bachchan has started shooting the promo for the tenth season of the reality game show Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC), a show that marked the actor’s comeback when it first launched 18 years ago.

Bachchan, who has been a part of the show for the past eight seasons (he took a break in between, making way for Shah Rukh Khan to take over as host), tweeted: “It is 4.45am! Just back from work, recording for the KBC shoot tomorrow at 8am.”

The thespian made his small screen foray in the year 2000 with Kaun Banega Crorepati, a general knowledge-based game show based on the Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? format.

Registrations for the new season will begin on June 6 across India, with Bachchan coming on air on Sony Entertainment Television and asking one question every night until June 20.
