Aishwarya immerses father’s ashes at Sangam

Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan on Saturday immersed the ashes of her late father in Allahabad.

Accompanied by her mother Vrinda Rai, husband Abhishek Bachchan and daughter Aradhya, they drove straight to the river Sangam soon after arrival.

He father Krishna Raj Rai died on March 18 after a prolonged battle with cancer.

Local priests performed the rituals for the family, which later left in a fleet of cars to Varanasi, where the remaining ashes will be immersed in the Ganges river.
