Aditi Rao Hydari to walk the AIFW ramp for Shruti Sancheti

Actress Aditi Rao Hydari will walk the ramp at the forthcoming Amazon India Fashion Week (AIFW) autumn-winter 2016 in New Delhi for designer Shruti Sancheti.

Sancheti will be presenting Constantinople, which takes inspiration from the culture of Istanbul and celebrates the neo-ethnic diversity, read a statement.

The five-day fashion event will begin on March 16 at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, and the Wazir actress will walk the ramp on March 18.

Rooted in Islamic architecture, the collection features modern cuts with handcrafted elements. Conflicting pattern clashes of fluid paisley, geometric mosaics and rustic clamp dying, form the core of the line.

The range offers natural fibres such as finely woven Karnataka silk, chanderi, chambray, wool, teamed with international favourites like felt and denim, to impart a global appeal.

The colour palette is deep and dark like oxblood, burnt orange, deep purple, royal blue, teal, slate grey.
