Aamir Khan: Margarita with a Straw is an inspirational film

Aamir Khan says he watched Kalki Koechlin-starrer Margarita With A Straw on his wife, Kiran Rao’s persuasion and was floored by it.

Khan launched the trailer of the film in Mumbai on Wednesday.

Margarita with a Straw is the story of Laila, played by Koechlin, who is suffering from Cerebral Palsy and shows how she manages to go abroad and live her life.

“Kiran applauded the film a lot and I believe her taste is very good. I have heard a lot from her so I knew it will be a very beautiful film,” Khan said.

“When I saw the film I was just floored with it. This film will make you think, make you happy, cry and at the end it will leave you in a celebratory mood. It also inspires you. It is very lovely and very well made film.”

Meanwhile, on a lighter note, when he was asked what else his wife Rao makes him do, Khan blushed and said: “There is no such thing that I can refuse. Actually Kiran is a lovely person it’s very difficult to refuse her. It’s extremely difficult to refuse anything she says. So, I quite enjoy listening to her because most of the time it’s for my own good.”
