Arabic copy of Ram Buxani’s book launched

Abu Dhabi: The Arabic copy of Ram Buxani’s book, ‘Taking the High Road’, was launched Tuesday by Shaikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Culture and Knowledge Development.

Shaikh Nahyan described Buxani’s experience as ‘rich on all humanitarian levels’, and said that he is not just a successful businessman but also a figure who played a key cultural and educational role. Shaikh Nahyan said that the book is the result of a rich experience that will inspire many youths on their course towards innovation.

Buxani thanked Shaikh Nahyan for launching the Arabic copy of his book. Buxani said that the book does not only highlight the various contributions and achievements of businessman, but also touches on the trust instilled in us by successive leaders who made sure we exerted our utmost efforts in order to contribute to building this great country.

Buxani praised the urban development witnessed by the UAE thanks to its wise leadership.

In the book, Buxani highlights Dubai’s economic and urban development and how it came in parallel with the growth of his personal wealth, as he diversified his sources of revenue from trading in textiles in the 1960s.
