No divorce yet
Nawal Al Zoghbi's husband, Elie Deeb, has announced that they are still married because Nawal's request for a divorce has been denied by religious authorities. Although the two have been separated for almost a year, they're still legally married, Elie said. He added that he is not in touch with Nawal and doesn't even know her new phone number. He said Nawal's Sharm Al Shaikh concert last year marked the end of their marriage. The Lebanese singer never discussed her divorce publicly, although she has admitted moving out of the house. She also hinted about a lack of trust in their relationship and her belief that a man should not be entitled to ruin a woman's life and career.

The singer is doing well and was not involved in a car accident in Dubai (as media reports claim) because she was in Qatar at the time.

Tarek also said he was horrified by the rumour and wondered why people would come up with such vicious and unsubstantiated stories that are harmful to artists. Asala is doing great at the present time and is busy preparing for her new entertainment show!
