Dubai: Dubai’s biggest shopping extravaganza is back in full swing as Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS) 2025 kicks off its second dedicated retail season, the Great Dubai Summer Sale (GDSS), with a thrilling one-day-only mega event – the GDSS 12-Hour Sale on 18 July.

From 10am to 10pm, shoppers can enjoy unbeatable discounts of up to 90% across Majid Al Futtaim malls including Mall of the Emirates, City Centre Mirdif, City Centre Deira, City Centre Me’aisem, and My City Centre Al Barsha.

Over 100 leading local and international brands are participating, offering deals on everything from fashion and beauty to electronics, home essentials, groceries, and more.

Cashback, prizes and points galore

Shoppers spending Dh300 or more at Mall of the Emirates, City Centre Mirdif, or City Centre Deira can spin a special prize wheel for instant rewards. Additionally, purchases in fashion, accessories or dining categories can earn 5% cashback via the SHARE app when receipts are scanned.

At Mall of the Emirates, shoppers can enjoy up to 20X SHARE points on spends of Dh2,000 or more in a single transaction — making the savings even more rewarding.

Million-dirham draws and Skywards bonus Miles

The GDSS continues citywide until 10 August, with the Shop, Scan and Win promotion offering shoppers who spend Dh300 or more the chance to win Dh1 million in cash or a brand-new Nissan Patrol.
