Dubai: Dubai’s summer events calendar is packed with concerts and live performances as part of this year’s Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS).

Running until August 31, the entertainment line-up includes international artists, regional acts, new pop-up experiences, and family-friendly musicals across venues citywide. Most of the events are indoors, so you can enjoy the music without the summer heat.

Organised by Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), DSS 2025 brings live music, stage shows and cultural events to some of Dubai’s best-known venues.

Beat the Heat DXB concert series returns

One of the season’s most anticipated fixtures, Beat the Heat DXB is back with performances at Zabeel Hall 6, Dubai World Trade Centre. The series began earlier this month and continues from July 11 to 13, featuring regional talent - Soulja, Montiyago, Bader Al Shuaibi, Abdulaziz Louis, Nasser Abbas, Akhras, Big Sam, and Lana Lubany. The event is held in collaboration with Spotlight Live.

New music pop-ups with Gahwa Beats

Also new this year is DSS Gahwa Beats – a free Saturday pop-up series combining coffee culture and live music. These performances will take place on July 26 and 2, 9, 16 and 23 August at selected cafés around the city. Locations will be announced in the coming weeks.
