UAQ Ruler issues financial law for local departments in the emirate’s government

His Highness Shaikh Saud Bin Rashid Al Mualla, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Umm Al Quwain, issues law No. 1 of 2017 regarding the financial law of local government departments.

The law defines the jurisdictions of each department and the emirate’s general budget, its incomes and expenses as well as allocations for each department. As per the new law, a committee will be set up at each government department. It will be tasked with preparing the estimated budget according to the predetermined time schedules.
