Turkey Pavilion officially opened

Dubai : The Global Village, a member of Tatweer located in Dubailand, witnessed the official inauguration of the Turkey Pavilion recently. The official ribbon-cutting and tour around the pavilion was attended by officers of the Turkish Consulate in Dubai headed by Consul General Umit Yalcin, members of the Turkish Tourism and Cultural Office headed by the Cultural and Information Attache Emin Kaya, senior management of the Global Village, the organising committee of the Turkey Pavilion and other special guests.

During the inauguration, it was announced that this year, for the first time after almost four years of participating in Global Village, Turkey would have its dedicated solo pavilion.
