Trinity signs 10-year workshop pact with Bahrain shipbuilders

Dubai-based firm will provide a range of services, including ship engine reconditioning

DUBAI: Trinity Industrial Services (TIS) has signed a long-term agreement to develop a 2,000-square metre workshop for Bahrain’s Arab Shipbuilding and Repair Yard (ASRY).

The agreement will see Trinity, a part of Dubai-based engineering conglomerate Trinity Holdings, provide a range of specialised services such as reconditioning of ship engine components, in-situ machining, grinding of shafts, protective coating, metal casting, babbitting works and repairs and overhauling of hydraulic cylinders and related equipment.

Arif Sayani, Managing Director, Trinity Holdings, said, “The 10-year service contract is a welcome validation of our engineering capabilities and continued support to ASRY. We are confident that the renewed collaboration will enrich ASRY’s cluster of expertise and further boost the relationship between both the companies.”
