Starwood’s W Hotels makes UAE debut

Dubai: The W Dubai – Al Habtoor City opened its doors on Tuesday, marking the debut of Starwood Hotels and Resorts’ W Hotels brand in the UAE.

The hotel, located within Al Habtoor City on Shaikh Zayed Road, is owned by Al Habtoor Group. The 33-storey hotel offers SPG Keyless-- a keyless entry system, enabling guests to use their smartphone or wearable technology as a room key.

W Hotels made its debut in the Middle East in 2009 with W Doha Hotel & Residences in Qatar. Following the launch of W Dubai – Al Habtoor City, the brand is set to open in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Amman, and Muscat.
