Sharjah Commerce Tourism Development Authority hosted road shows in Austria, Germany and Switzerland from May 19 to 23
Dubai: Sharjah is increasing efforts to attract European travellers as it looks to further grow the emirates’ tourism industry.
The Sharjah Commerce Tourism Development Authority (SCTDA) attracted more than 250 leading travel and tourism companies at its roadshows in Austria, Germany and Switzerland from May 19 to 23.
The roadshows focused on the latest developments in the tourism industry landscape including, hospitality and infrastructure projects.
Sharjah received more than 1.9 million international tourists last year and is targeting 2 million in 2014.
