35% rise in number of Emirati tourists to Egypt

Dubai: Egypt recorded a 35 per cent increase in the number of Emirati tourists in the first five months of this year, according to statistics issued by Egyptian Tourism Authority. The authority revealed that the number of Emirati tourists rose from 7,591 to 10,250 during a similar period, an increase of 35 per cent. The authority also pointed out that the months of April and May recorded increases of 36.6 per cent and 27.3 per cent in the number of Emirati tourists compared to the same period last year.
