Billionaire spends £54m on Caribbean retreat equipped with private waterfall
London : It boasts a 1,000-feet private beach, 70 acres of land and a swimming pool with its own waterfall.
Roman Abramovich's purchase of an £54 million (Dh319.68 million) estate on the island of St Barts in the Caribbean, is perhaps the world's most impressive holiday home.
It comes with an outdoor cinema, swim-up bar, and room for 250 guests.
Abramovich bought the 70-acre estate three months ago and is spending Christmas there, hosting a party with girlfriend Daria Zhukova, who recently gave birth to their son Aaron.
His purchase of the Gouverneur Bay Estate, once owned by banker David Rockefeller, is believed to be the most expensive deal ever for a Caribbean property.
