Lulu group launches US operations

Abu Dhabi: Lulu Group International, the Abu Dhabi headquartered retail and hospitality group, further expanded its operations by inaugurating food processing and logistics centre in the United States. Y International, a wholly owned subsidiary of the group, launched its operation in Lyndhurst, New Jersey, Lulu group said in a statement.

The export centre will purchase, process, relabel and export food, non-food, chilled and frozen products made in the US. In the first phase there will be 75 employees working and the number is expected to go up to 200 to 250 within a year.
