The auto and auto parts manufacturers of Pakistan were impressed with Rakia's park

Ras Al Khaimah: The Ras Al Khaimah Investment Authority (Rakia) has sent a delegation to Pakistan recenly to introduce the Rakia Auto Industrial Park to the Pakistan Association of Automotive Parts and Accessories Manufacturers (Paapam).

Meetings were held with members of Paapam Karachi Office and Lahore Head Office on January 11 and 12, Rakia said in a press release on Tuesday.

The auto and auto parts manufacturers of Pakistan were impressed with Rakia's park.

Ashok Leyland is already part of this concept, having built a state-of-the-art assembly of chassis and body building unit in Ras Al Khaimah, where more than 2,000 buses per annum will be produced and exported to the GCC and Middle East, Rakia said.
