Manazel on a mission

Moosa Al-Hashemi, chief commercial officer of Manazel Specialists, talks about plans, image and strategy.

Moosa Al-Hashemi's enthusiasm for Manazel Real Estate's progress is evident from the moment the interview starts.

Before the questions are posed, he has already launched into an energetic description of the achievements of Manazel and its future prospects.

And he has reason to be excited: the relatively young, 170-strong company, having already made its mark on Abu Dhabi's property scene, is slowly spreading its reach into other emirates, the Middle East and beyond.

It's evident from Al Hashemi's demeanour that he's dedicated to helping Manazel pursue those ambitions. The company's success stories have included the Al Reef Villas and Al Reef Downtown.

Its Amman Gardens project in Jordan embodies the same message - it's a place where community spirit is seen in both the design of the buildings and the affordable prices, says Moosa.

At the same time, Manazel has fostered its image through branding. "We have invested a lot of our money recently into sponsorship," says Moosa.
And what image is the company hoping to project?

"The market currently targets the high-end users, the luxury buyers," he answers. "We are looking to offer people something the market is lacking - affordable housing."

Treatment of clients is of highest importance, not only on the pampering side but when doing business too.

Each customer will be walked through the process and briefed so that they know exactly what is going on. The whole process is very quick and efficient.
And to keep their client base growing, Moosa goes into the measures taken to remain on top of things.

"We're constantly monitoring the market for any changes in trends. We conduct surveys and get to know our customers' preferences."

Concerning future plans and ambitions, Moosa says, "There is a great potential to grow outside the UAE market. We have plans in Jeddah, Tunisia, Egypt and Morocco."
