Electrical firm Eaton wins $1.3m order for DIFC tower

$1b ICD Brookfield Place tower will be 282 metres tall

Dubai: Multinational power management firm Eaton was awarded a $1.3 million (Dh4.77 million) order on Sunday, to install electrical systems for the ICD Brookfield Place tower in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC).

The company announced in a statement that it would be providing complete low-voltage switchgear systems to the 282-metre, $1 billion development.

Eaton says its systems will “increase electrical safety and support the reliable distribution of power” in the building, making it more efficient.
