Drake & Scull chairman resigns

Drake & Scull International (DSI) said on Sunday Majid Saif Al Ghurair has resigned from the chairmanship of the board of directors for personal reasons. The board will elect a new chairman in the upcoming meeting, the company said in a statement posted on Duabi Financial Market’s website.

The board will meet on September 12, the company said in a separate statement. In this meeting, the board will elect a chairman and a vice-chairman along with the appointment of investment committee members. DSI closed 1 per cent higher at Dh0.385.
