Arabtec appoints new CFO

Arabtec Holding, the Dubai-listed construction company, announced on Monday the appointment of Peter Pollard as group chief financial officer effective April 16, 2017.

Pollard will replace Ravi Murthy who had been Acting CFO for the group. Murthy will resume his role as CFO of the company’s subsidiary, Arabtec Construction.

Pollard joins Arabtec from Serco Group where he served as managing director of the Hong Kong business. The announcement comes just a day ahead of Arabtec’s annual general meeting where it will seek shareholder approval for a recapitalisation programme.
