Turkey and Arab countries partner on investment

Dubai: Investment opportunities and potential partnerships between Turkey and Arab countries were highlighted at the Turkish Arab Economic Forum in Istanbul.

Delegates from Dubai attending the June 8-9 forum received analyses on Turkey's rapidly growing market and learned about the steps taken by Turkey to be part of the European Union.

The forum was inaugurated by Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan. Among those attending the inauguration was Farhan Faraidooni, chief executive officer of Sama Dubai.

Sama Dubai is an international real estate investment and development arm of Dubai Holding and the top sponsor of the event.

Sama Dubai showcased its projects in Dubai and overseas.

The company's portfolio includes major tourism and leisure projects, including $500-million Dubai Towers project in Istanbul.

"Sama Dubai's sponsorship of the forum reflects its commitment to investing in Turkey, a promising land of business opportunities and we believe our participation in the forum will contribute to fostering stronger relations between Turkey and the Arab world," chief executive officer Farhan Faraidooni said while elaborating the project.

The forum was conducted by Al Iktissad Wal Aamal Group in cooperation with Turkey's Foreign Economic Relations Board.
