Saudi’s Tadawul share trading falls by a quarter in July

Value of shares traded for July on the exchange reached 84.14 billion Saudi riyals, decreasing 25.17 per cent over previous month

Dubai: The value of shares traded for July on the Tadawul exchange reached 84.14 billion Saudi riyals (Dh82.41 billion), decreasing 25.17 per cent over the previous month.

The value of shares traded by Saudis was 80.02 billion riyals, representing 94.80 per cent for buying, and 80.19 billion riyals for selling.

The value of shares traded by GCC was 1.94 billion riyals, contributing to 2.30 per cent for buying, and 1.81 billion riyals for selling.

The value of shares traded by foreigners through SWAP & Qualified Foreign Institution was 2.44 billion riyals for buying, and 2.69 billion riyals for selling.
