Memorandum to promote commodity contracts development

Abu Dhabi: Korea Exchange (KRX), the North Asian equities operator, and the DME, the commodities exchange in the Middle East, signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on Monday to strengthen cooperation in promoting the development of commodity futures contracts, particularly crude oil.

KRX and DME will work together to develop crude oil futures trading in the Republic of Korea, with a focus on developing an energy trading ecosystem around the National Oil Hub Project in Ulsan, Korea.
