Emirates Post partners with Aramex to expand logistics reach across UAE

Dubai: Emirates Post has launched a strategic partnership with Aramex to offer expanded logistics services through its branch network, beginning with select locations in Dubai.

The collaboration allows customers to access Aramex’s domestic and international shipping services directly from participating Emirates Post outlets.

Over time, the rollout will extend to more branches nationwide. The move forms part of Emirates Post’s broader plan to reposition its branches as multi-service logistics hubs, catering to both individuals and small businesses.

Specialised shipments

The initial phase of the partnership includes support for specialised shipments, such as Dangerous Goods (DGG)—for example, perfume—bound for certain regional markets.

The pilot will evolve to include parcel pickup and returns, improving last-mile connectivity, especially in remote or underserved areas of the country.

This initiative taps into the UAE’s rising demand for more flexible and accessible logistics services, particularly as e-commerce volumes continue to grow and SMEs seek faster delivery options.

By integrating Aramex’s express services into its own infrastructure, Emirates Post aims to streamline operations and support national economic development.

Long-term strategy

According to Emirates Post, the goal is to transform the traditional post office model into a centralised platform for courier, express, and parcel (CEP) services, reflecting wider national priorities around digital transformation and service accessibility.

Aramex noted that the partnership complements its long-term strategy to extend reach in fast-growing regional markets, while leveraging Emirates Post’s established branch network to offer more agile and customer-centric solutions.

No specific timeline has been disclosed for the nationwide rollout, but both companies indicated that future phases will introduce additional features based on customer demand and operational feedback.
