Dubai Investments announces Sanofi agreement

DI pharmaceuticals subsidiary will produce generic medicines under joint entity

Dubai: Dubai Investment (DIC), listed on the Dubai Financial Market, and French pharmaceuticals firm Sanofi have signed a strategic agreement for promoting a new generics portfolio in the Middle East through the DI pharmaceutical subsidiary Globalpharma.

Products will be commercialised under a joint entity to better meet the needs of patients within the UAE and the wider region.

Dubai Investments and Sanofi are currently in the process of validating this agreement with the relevant authorities.
