Dubai index tumbles over 6.5%

ADX general index was 2.89% lower at 4,659.09; Saudi’s Tadawul also fell, was last at 8,636.89, down 4.62%

Dubai: The Dubai index fell more than 6.5 per cent on Sunday weighed by falling crude oil, while Amanat, which debuted on the Dubai Financial Market, fell 20 per cent at open.

The Dubai Financial Market General Index fell 6.7 per cent to a low of 4,192.70, before trading 4.87 per cent lower at 4,275.31 at 1.24pm. In Abu Dhabi, the ADX general index was 2.89 per cent lower at 4,659.09.

Amanat traded 12 per cent lower at Dh0.88 per share.

In Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul all share Index also fell and was last at 8,636.89, down 4.62 per cent.
