Maktoum receives Pfizer President

Dubai: Shaikh Maktoum Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, received John Young, Group President of Pfizer’s Global Established Pharma business, at the Dubai International Financial Centre, on Thursday. Shaikh Maktoum welcomed the Young’s visit, expressing the hope it would open up new prospects for cooperation. The meeting discussed the group’s vision for the Middle East, Pfizer’s diverse pharmaceutical products and its expansion plan in Dubai. Young said he was impressed with Dubai Strategy 2021, its innovation strategy and the amazing progress both the UAE and Dubai are witnessing and their attracting of foreign companies.
