Etisalat, Huawei collaborate to deliver 10Gbps broadband service

Dubai: Telecom operator Etisalat UAE have partnered with Huawei to announce the successful launch of a new fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) solution to provide 10Gbps broadband service.

Consumers today require high internet speeds for real-time 4K video streaming, low-latency cloud gaming, desk cloud system, and large file transfers. The launch of the 10Gbps service will enable users to experience and enjoy the fastest broadband speed available in the region today. The new broadband technology demonstrates that our existing network is capable of supporting future, next-generation PON (Passive Optical Network) technology.
