Kuwait: A fire at Kuwait's 270,000 barrels per day Mina Abdullah refinery on Monday was brought under control and had no impact on exports, state refiner Kuwait National Petroleum Co (KNPC) said.
Six workers were slightly injured, KNPC spokesman Ahmad Al Muzaiel told reporters.
"There is no impact on refinery work or oil export ... the fire was in a compressor which was scheduled for maintenance...the fire was (brought) under control within minutes," he said.
The fire broke out in the morning and is being investigated, state news agency KUNA said.
