E-marine forms alliance with Alcatel-Lucent Submarine Networks

Dubai: Submarine cable solutions provider E-marine has announced its cooperation with Alcatel-Lucent Submarine Networks (ASN) on the installation of a section of a major submarine cable system linking Asia to Europe. E-marine is installing a link from Pakistan to Oman and the UAE, a distance of around 2,000 kilometres, for ASN. E-marine has installed nearly 20,000 kilometres of submarine cables in the region and maintains 100,000 kilometres of submarine cables across the Middle East, Africa and Sub-continent section.
