Dubai's financial progress praised

Dubai: Shaikh Maktoum Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai International Financial Centre, praised the progress made by Dubai among the world's top financial centres.

"The progress is a result of sincere efforts exerted to enhance Dubai's role and position as a leading global financial hub," Shaikh Maktoum said.

He added that Dubai's rank among top global cities compared to the previous classification provides evidence of the emirate's ongoing progress towards achieving the vision of His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, which aims at placing Dubai among the world's five most important financial centres.
