Research with 2,000 mothers finds comfort and usability shape breastfeeding duration

Dubai: Momcozy, the world’s No.1 wearable breast pump, strengthened its commitment to maternal care in the Middle East as main sponsor of the UAE Midwifery Conference, held November 8–9, 2025.
The conference highlighted midwives’ critical role in supporting sustainable breastfeeding. Momcozy’s featured session, “Digital Empowerment for Sustainable Breastfeeding: From Midwives to Moms,” showcased how digital tools and evidence-based solutions can help midwives deliver personalised care and guide mothers through their breastfeeding journey.
“Midwives are at the heart of every successful breastfeeding story, yet often face time constraints and limited access to the latest evidence,” said Lalaina Rabary, US Marketing Manager at Momcozy. “Our goal is to provide tools, knowledge, and support to empower them in this vital role.”
Momcozy’s “Cozy Tech” philosophy combines ergonomic design, expert guidance, and real insights from mothers to create practical solutions that enhance comfort and confidence. Products are developed through a Mom-First approach, including in-depth interviews, home visits, focus groups, and consultations with lactation specialists.
Coinciding with the conference, Momcozy officially launched its Air 1 wearable breast pump in the UAE this November. As the brand’s lightest and first fully transparent pump, Air 1 prioritises discretion, ease of use, and flexibility — enabling mothers to maintain breastfeeding seamlessly at home, work, or on the go. Global research with over 2,000 mothers confirms that comfort and usability strongly influence breastfeeding duration.
To further strengthen regional support, Momcozy announced plans to establish a Middle East Expert Advisory Board, bringing together midwives, lactation consultants, and maternal health specialists to guide product development and educational initiatives.
“By listening to both midwives and mothers, we aim to build a future where comfort, knowledge, and community shape maternal care in the UAE and beyond,” added Rabary.
