Abu Dhabi's Hub71 has a new CEO

Dubai: Abu Dhabi’s tech support platform, Hub71, has confirmed Hanan Harhara Al Yafei as its new CEO. She joins from Mubadala, where her role had been that of executive director and had been involved in leading teams across multiple sectors.

“Since its launch, the ecosystem has grown into something truly special, attracting incredible companies, building new skills and networks, and growing businesses in a wide range of sectors,” said Hanan. “Though the last few months have been tough for all businesses and SMEs particularly, Hub71 has been a safe space that has proactively helped its startups navigate the difficult market conditions.”

Hub71 also named the 11 additional startups to be included in its Incentive Programme. These include Tarabut Gateway from Bahrain, UAE-based Arabee, and Lebanon-based Mint Basil Market.
