UAE, Qatar markets power 60% increase in AXA Insurance
Dubai: AXA Insurance (Gulf) revealed that revenues for the first half of 2008 increased by 60 per cent compared to the same period of 2007.
Jean-Louis Laurent Josi, Chief Executive Officer of AXA Insurance Gulf and the Middle East, also reported that AXA recorded 66 per cent growth in commercial lines and 51 per cent growth in personal lines.
Josi said AXa's operations in the UAE, Bahrain, Oman, Qatar and Saudi Arabia have reported impressive premium growth rates driven by UAE and Qatar well above 50 per cent.
