Dubai: Passenger traffic at Dubai World Central (DWC) fell 6.7 per cent in the first half of 2018 to 554,993 passengers, according to figures from operator Dubai Airports.
The operator did not cite any reasons behind the decline, but said that flight movements in the first six months were also down year-on-year, by 12.5 per cent.
However, cargo volumes at the airport jumped 7.1 per cent in the first half of the year to reach 475,190 tonnes.
