Novus Aviation Capital, a Middle East-based aircraft leasing firm, said on Monday it has closed a purchase and leaseback agreement with Emirates for a Boeing 777-300ER (extended range).

The aircraft, which is leased to Emirates on a long-term arrangement, was delivered to the airline on September 23, Novus said in a statement.

It is the leasing firm’s fourth 777-300ER completed transaction with Emirates this year, Novus said.

Novus said it has completed sale and leaseback and financing transactions this year worth nearly $1 billion.
