Dubai: Jazeera Airways, the Kuwait low cost airline, reported on Tuesday a 14.2 per cent rise in second quarter net profit spurred by an increase in demand.
The airline made 3.2 million Kuwaiti Dinar (KD) (Dh38.8 million) over the three months ending June 30, 2015, compared to KD2.2 million a year ago, according to an emailed statement. Operating revenue was KD13.8 million, down 1.5 per cent.
Half year net profit was up 27.1 per cent to KD6.1 million. Half year operating revenue rose 0.8 per cent to KD26.6 million.
