Dubai: Saudi Arabia’s low-cost carrier Flyadeal has announced to launch for new direct flight routes to key cities in Pakistan.

The airline will introduce services from Riyadh to Islamabad, Peshawar, and Sialkot, as well as from Dammam to Karachi, operating two to three times per week on each route using Airbus A320 aircraft.

The new flights will commence between August 24 and August 26, effectively doubling Flyadeal’s presence in the Pakistani market, which it first entered in February 2025 with flights from Jeddah and Riyadh to Karachi.

One of the standout additions is the Riyadh—Sialkot route, which has remained unserved since Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) suspended it in 2024. Flyadeal will become the only carrier offering direct service from Saudi Arabia on this route when flights begin on August 26.

New flights

  • Riyadh—Islamabad: Twice weekly from August 24

  • Riyadh—Peshawar: Twice weekly from August 24

  • Riyadh—Sialkot: Three times weekly from August 26

  • Dammam—Karachi: Three times weekly from August 25

The expansion reflects the increasing demand for air travel between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan. In 2024, an estimated 5.9 million passengers flew between the two nations, with seat capacity continuing to rise year over year.
