Etihad Airways appoints new GCC area manager

Abu Dhabi: Etihad Airways announced the appointment of Othman Aleghfeli as area manager for the Gulf Cooperation Council.

Aleghfeli, an Emirati, held the position of assistant general manager for the airline’s Abu Dhabi hub prior to this promotion.

He will now be responsible for overseeing Etihad’s operations and driving growth in the GCC region and becomes the first Emirati to hold the position.

Aleghfeli, who joined Etihad in 2007, has almost a decade of operational experience in the aviation industry.
