Dubai: Emirates airline announced on Monday it will be resuming flights between Dubai and Istanbul’s Sabiha Gokcen Airport from June 8, 2018.
The move comes nearly two years after Emirates cancelled flights to Sabiha Gokcen in mid-2016 following a Turkish military coup attempt.
Emirates said the flight will be operated five times a week by a Boeing 777-300ER in a three class cabin configuration, with a total of 360 seats. The airline also said it has seen continued growth in travel demand to and from Istanbul over the past year.
