Dubai: Emirates is set to open a 300-strong employee customer contact centre in Budapest, Hungary, the airline announced on Tuesday.

The centre will house reservation services as well as multi-lingual support for Emirates Skywards, its frequent flyer program.

It is Emirates’ second customer contact centre in Europe after Manchester in the United Kingdom. Other centres are located in Dubai, Mumbai, New York, Melbourne and Guangzhou. The six global contact centres average around 35,000 calls and e-mails a day.
