Emirates receives IATA 753 compliance certificate

Dubai: Emirates airline was awarded the IATA 753 compliance certificate for its baggage operation in its base of Dubai.

The certification is for the carrier’s capabilities to track bags that flow through Dubai for departing, arriving, and connecting customers.

IATA Resolution 753 requires airlines to track bags at four specific points in the baggage journey to ensure that the status of each bag is known at any given time. To achieve the certification, Emirates developed a baggage management system to provide control of its global operations.
