Emirates launches second Seattle service

New flight creates 75% jump in seating capacity

Abu Dhabi: Emirates airline announced on Wednesday the launch of its second daily service from Dubai International Airport to Seattle’s Tacoma International Airport.

The new service, which began on July 7, is operated by a Boeing 777-200LR, and will supplement the current EK 230 Boeing 777-300ER flight departing Seattle to Dubai.

The flight creates a 75 per cent jump in seating capacity with 4,340 weekly seats, and will move Seattle into second position in the US market in terms of seat capacity, behind New York.
