Dubai: Dnata, the Emirates Group airport and travel services subsidiary, said on Wednesday it has won the contract to handle all of American Airlines’ flights at Zurich International Airport in Switzerland.

The contract will start ground-handling operations for American Airlines at the European airport from February 17, 2015.

The contract comes after the merger between American Airlines and US Airways. Dnata said it will handle more than 500 flights a year for the two airlines once the new contract starts.
