In the same post, CIAL accused SpiceJet of spreading misinformation after the airline attributed the disruptions to bad weather in Kochi on social media.
According to CIAL, there were no adverse weather conditions at Kochi that would have warranted the disruptions cited by the airline. The airport operator added that no other airline operating from Kochi had reported similar weather-related cancellations during the same period.
CIAL said passenger grievances over the SpiceJet disruptions had worsened over the past few days and that the issues had not been adequately addressed or resolved by the airline.
CIAL said it had made efforts to assist affected passengers and provide support during the disruptions.
Passengers who have booked SpiceJet flights from Kochi are advised to recheck their flight status with the airline before proceeding to the airport.
