Alitalia to launch daily Venice-Abu Dhabi service

Dubai: Alitalia, the Italian national carrier in which Etihad Airways owns 49 per cent, will launch daily flights from Venice to Abu Dhabi on March 29, the airline said in a statement yesterday. The flight, a code-share with Etihad, will depart Venice Marco Polo Airport at 9.55pm and land at Abu Dhabi International at 5.55am the following day. The return flight departs Abu Dhabi at 9.05am and arrives in Venice at 1.35pm. Alitalia will also launch a flight from Milan Malpensa Airport to Abu Dhabi from March 29. (Staff Report)
