Dubai: Aramex, the Dubai-based logistics firm, has partnered with IMG Solar, a subsidiary of Jordanian firm Izzat Marji Group, in launching a 3.2 megawatt solar photovoltaic plant for its new logistics facility in Dubai.

The move is part of Aramex’s push towards the UAE’s Clean Energy Strategy 2021 goals.

The company says that this is the largest single-rooftop solar photovoltaic plant project in the Middle East & North Africa (Mena) region, and one of the largest solar photovoltaic plants connected to the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (Dewa) grid under its initiative coined Shams Dubai.
