Adnec generates Dh842m in Q1

Abu Dhabi: Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Company (Adnec) announced it has generated around Dh842 million in economic impact for Abu Dhabi over the first quarter of 2015.

In a statement released on Monday, Adnec said it attracted over 270,000 visitors to both Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre and Al Ain Convention Centre, adding that the company hosted 14 exhibitions and five conferences in Q1 2015.

The number of conferences marks a 400 per cent increase compared to the same period in 2014.
