New Jersey-based Triton Solar has an electric vehicle division named TritonEV and it has just revealed details about its eight-seater SUV which could have a range of 1,126km on a single charge! Tesla and co had better watch out…

Called the Model H, if Triton’s pure-electric vehicle is ever built, it appears set to give the Tesla Model X a run for its money thanks to some very impressive specs.

The most impressive is the aforementioned range which is provided by its huge 200-kWh electric battery pack. In comparison, the best range Tesla has is 627km - and it comes from the Model S which is a much smaller vehicle…

That’s not all - the Model H has mind-melting performance stats too; Triton says it will have four drive motors (one per wheel) which will deliver a total output of 1,500 horsepower…

It will enable the SUV to hit 0-100kph in 2.9-second and it will have a tow rating of up to 6,985kg.
